BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Amtrak Cascades service through Bellingham was suspended by a landslide on Thursday, Dec. 19.
Amtrak Cascades said on its website that the landslide covered the tracks near White Rock, B.C. and halted all passenger service between Seattle and Vancouver, B.C.
Bus service for passengers was provided during the suspension. Amtrak Cascades trains were projected to resume operations by Dec. 20 at noon.
In the case of future suspensions travelers can access updates at Amtrak.com or with the service’s app.
