Camping at state parks in Whatcom County is getting a whole lot easier

WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Washington State Parks has announced its expanding same-day reservations to all parks with reservable campgrounds.

Previously, same-day reservations were only available at a few parks around the state. But moving forward, any visitor will be able to secure a campsite until 2 p.m. on their intended day of arrival.

Washington State Parks says visitors won’t have to gamble on campsite availability with the new change.

First come, first served camping is still available for unreserved sites after 2:30 p.m.

Birch Bay and Larrabee state parks are both available for camping reservations in Whatcom County.
