WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – If Spring cleaning has uncovered any old medications, there’s an upcoming opportunity to dispose of them safely.

The federal Drug Enforcement Agency will hold its National Drug Takeback Day this Saturday, April 26. Anyone can drop off their old medications, no questions asked, at participating locations between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office will have two drop-off locations at the Birch Bay Library and at the North Fork Library. Ferndale Police will also accept any old prescriptions at their building on Main Street.
