BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A state agency is asking for final feedback on the future of rail in Washington.

The Washington State Rail Plan’s feedback window closes on Tuesday.

The opportunity allows members of the public to give opinions on how passenger and freight rail can help ease congestion, support economic growth, reduce emissions and meet transportation needs.

Washington’s rail plan will be compiled with the findings of the survey in the coming months to be shared with state and federal leaders later this year.
