BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – An investigation is underway after human remains were found close to an I-5 exit in Bellingham.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Kelsey Harding tells My Bellingham Now that skeletal remains were found near the off-ramp of I-5 SB onto Lakeway Drive on Tuesday afternoon.
Harding adds that the person has not been identified and an investigation into their death is ongoing.
Traffic wasn’t impacted during the initial investigation, but My Bellingham Now can confirm there was law enforcement presence in the brush near the exit.
