BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A Bellingham man was arrested following an investigation into explicit content involving children.

Whatcom County Sheriff’s spokesperson Deb Slater says that the media was being posted without the victim’s consent to a social media account.

Investigators later learned that the account’s owner posted and exchanged sexually explicit media of other underage victims.

The social media account’s owner, identified as a 19-year-old male, was taken into custody on Monday, Jan. 27. He has since been released on bond from the Whatcom County Jail.
