Celebrate birds at BirdFest’s All Things Birds and Beautiful Art Show and Sale. This juried fine art/ fine craft exhibit brings the best bird art together in a variety of media and style sure to please everyone. The art show runs April 22 – May 16, 2015 at the Orcas Island Historical Museum and live online at All Things Birds and Beautiful from April 22 – May 31, 2015.

The Chelsey Ebert Trust’s 7th Annual Golf Tournament will again take place at the beautiful Shuksan Golf Course. Golf on May 16th with an 11am tee time. Participants will be able to bid on the celebrities to join their foursome during golf. This years lineup includes:Mark Lee, Randall Morris, Dane Looker, Jared Zabransky, Seattle Mist ”Legend’s League” players, and retired NFL players Jim Zorn, Paul Johns, Dave Wyman, Sam Adkins, Clayton Holmes, Dennis Boyd, Nesby Glasgow and Alonzo Mitz. Not only are this year’s bragging rights on the line, but the winners will also be awarded the coveted “Traveling Trophy”. This is quickly becoming one of Whatcom County’s most entertaining and fun golfing events! Food and beverage along the course ensures that you will always be full, and never thirsty! The Chelsey Rae Ebert Scholarship Trust was created by Chelsey and Jay Ebert (her father) to help advance the education of Ferndale High School students. In the beginning, this Sports Scholarship was annually awarded to two Ferndale High School senior girls (one volleyball, and one basketball players), to be used at any University or school of the students choice. Since 2008 the scholarship has been awarded to 72 girls and grown to include senior girls involved in volleyball and basketball from each of the Whatcom County High Schools.
