EVERETT, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Olympic Pipeline is fully back up and running following a nearly two-week-long shutdown.

King5 reports that BP restarted a 20-inch segment on Saturday, Nov. 29 after repairing a leak that was found in November.

The 20-inch pipe is one of two different segments on the pipeline, and its reopening came days after the other 16-inch pipe resumed production.

The critical pipeline supplies jet fuel to Sea-Tac Airport and provides Oregon with the vast majority of its fuel.

The leak was first reported on Nov. 11 and caused the governors of Washington and Oregon to each issue emergency declarations to maintain fuel deliveries.

BP says nearly 2,300 gallons of fuel has been recovered so far, though there isn’t a full estimate of how much leaked yet.
