WCC Orca Golf Classic Raises $40k for Student Athletes

Whatcom Community College is on the green with the Orca Golf Classic, raising over $40,000 for the college’s seven athletic programs.

A total of 33 teams and 132 golfers turned out for the tournament on June 10, 2021 at the Sudden Valley Golf and Country Club.

Proceeds were raised through entry fees, hole sponsorships, on-course contests, raffle drawings, and an online auction.

The money raised will be used to as academic assistance for the college’s student athletes.

The Orca Golf Classic will take place next year on June 9th, 2022 and will also be held at the Sudden Valley Golf and Country Club.
