Paul McCartney's amazing 12 months has just got more amazing - he is to be honored with the 2,460th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The former Beatle will unveil his latest accolade on Feb. 9 on Vine Street, outside the Capitol Records Building and alongside the stars of his former bandmates Ringo Starr, John Lennon and George Harrison.

The ceremony will cap a landmark year for the rocker, who became a grandfather and wed new wife Nancy Shevell in 2011 - and learned he would be the 2012 recipient of the U.S. Recording Academy’s MusiCares Person of the Year honor.

McCartney also unveiled his first ballet score last year.
