RECALL ROUNDUP: 21 crashes prompt Toyota recall

21 crashes prompt Toyota recall
Toyota is recalling about 615,000 minivans because they can inadvertently shift out of park and roll away. The recall involves Sienna vans from five model years. Toyota said it has received reports of 21 accidents and two people have been injured.
The minivans will be repaired for free at dealerships nationwide.

BMW recalls sedans for brake light problems
BMW is recalling more than 134,000 sedans because the rear lights can fail, causing brake and turn-signal lights to stop working. The recall affects 528i, 535i, 550i and M5 cars from the 2008 through 2010 model years and repairs will be made at dealerships.

Nissan recalling 1M vehicles
Nissan is recalling nearly 1 million vehicles due to a flaw in an accelerator sensor that could cause the engine to stall. The recall affects a variety of makes and will be repaired for free at Nissan dealerships.

Cracker Barrel candles pose fire hazard
Cracker Barrel is recalling candle holders sold at the restaurants’ Old Country Stores because of a fire hazard. The company plans to refund the purchase price of the candles, which were sold from May through June in stores across America.
