Man charged in death of Adrian Peterson’s son

A man has been charged in connection with the death of Minnesota Vikings’ Adrian Peterson’s young son.

The running back’s 2-year-old boy, who has not been named, died on Oct. 11, following an alleged assault.

Joseph Patterson, 27, has now been charged with one count of second degree murder and two counts of first degree manslaughter, as well as aggravated battery of an infant and felony child abuse, according to

Reports suggest Patterson was the boyfriend of the child’s mother.
