NEW YORK (AP) — MSNBC and Alec Baldwin say they are ending the actor’s talk show, which was suspended for two weeks after the actor used an anti-gay slur against a photographer in a New York City street.

MSNBC said it was a “mutual parting and we wish Alec all the best.”

Baldwin’s Friday night talk show was only a few episodes old before he was videotaped using the epithet.

Baldwin apologized and was given the suspension.

The move comes just weeks after a woman was convicted of stalking the “30 Rock” star and his wife.
