NEW YORK (AP) — Chrissie Hynde is putting out an album under her own name for the first time, but she refuses to call it a solo album.

Hynde says making this album was more of a collaboration than any Pretenders album ever was.

Hynde will release “Stockholm” on June 10.

It features collaborations with Neil Young and John McEnroe, the ex-tennis star turned guitarist.

It was produced by Bjorn Yttling of Peter, Bjorn and John.
