Two-year-old girl hit by car

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A car hit at two-year-old girl in Bellingham.

The girl tried to cross Lincoln Street to get her mother when the car hit her and tossed her about ten feet yesterday afternoon.

She was conscious and alert when medics arrived.

The Bellingham Herald reports that driver of the car┬ádid slow, but couldn’t stop in time.

Police found no evidence of poor driving.

The girl was transported to Saint Joseph’s Medical Center.

Her condition in unavailable.
