PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Running back Aaron Baltazar has transferred from Boise State to Washington State.

Coach Mike Leach says the 215-pound Baltazar rushed for 235 yards on 50 carries as a freshman last season before a knee injury ended his year.

Baltazar will have to sit out this coming season per NCAA transfer rules. He will have three years to play for the Cougars.
