Mudslide victim readmitted to Seattle hospital

SEATTLE, Wash. – A young mother who suffered two broken legs and a broken arm in the Oso mudslide is back in a Seattle hospital.

Amanda Skorjanc had been discharged on April 10 from Harborview Medical Center.

Spokeswoman Liz Hunter says she was readmitted Tuesday and is in satisfactory condition.

Earlier, the 25-year-old Skorjanc told reporters how she held on to her baby as the March 22 mudslide destroyed their home.

The five-month-old boy, Duke Suddarth, also spent weeks in Seattle hospitals.
