MAPLE FALLS, Wash. – A Maple Falls fire that destroyed an RV trailer and damaged a mobile home may not be an accident.

Firefighters responded around 5:00 am yesterday to a property at Blackfoot Place.

No one was injured.

Will Anderson with the fire marshal’s office says it seems suspicious, but he can’t rule out other factors yet.

He says they are are interviewing people living nearby as they continue their investigation.

The Mount Baker Chapter of the Red Cross is assisting two people who lived in the home.
