Lynden ranked in MaxPreps Preseason Small School National Football Rankings

The three-time defending 2A champion Lynden Lion football team is ranked third in the MaxPreps Preseason Small School National Football Rankings.

Winners of 27 consecutive games, the Lions return to the field Friday, September 5 against 1A powerhouse Kings at Rollie DeKoster Field at Lynden High School.

Lynden’s 2A rival Ellensburg High School is ranked 23rd by MaxPreps. The Lions defeated the Bulldogs in the semi-finals 21-7 in 2013 on their way to another state championship.
