BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Five work projects are scheduled for James Street in the Sunset Pond and Bakerview Road area.

The City of Bellingham plans to replace the James Street bridge over Squalicum Creek, reroute the creek, build a section of the Bay to Baker trail and improve the intersection of James and Bakerview.

The bridge replacement will close a section of James for six months.

People can learn more about the projects at an open house from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. this evening at Grace Baptist Church on James.
