FERNDALE, Wash. – A Seattle firefighter, who lives in Whatcom County, has had his license suspended on charges that he had sex with a 15-year-old Lynden girl.

Michael James Sulak was arrested in February.

The charges say he met the girl through a theater group and that he had sex with her at least four times.

Sulak admitted to police that he had sex with the girl and that he knew she was only 15-years-old.

The Department of Health announced yesterday that they suspended Sulak’s license to work as an emergency medical technician in Washington state.
