Christmas sales not good in Whatcom County

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – ┬áThe Christmas shopping season wasn’t good for Whatcom County retailers.

Newly released numbers show that retail says in the last quarter of 2013 trailed the previous quarter by nearly one percent.

Christmas sales were up close to two percent compared to the same time a year earlier.
