Jordan Rain has put together a feeling that translates into good times no matter who is in his band. The Yogoman Burning Band has been through a number of line ups over the past decade, but the group continues to keep feet moving on the dance floor. Currently Jordan is accompanied by his father, Michael Rain on guitar, Mars Lindgren on trombone, Amanda Rhine on sax, and Nelson Bell on trombone, tuba and trumpet. This ensemble has a new recording and a big New Year’s Party on the horizon. We’ll hear the group’s latest efforts and find out what’s up with the Yogoman on this week’s edition of Locals Only.

A couple of Heart’s original members have teamed up with some of the Northwest’s top musicians to form a Heart tribute band. Steve Fossen and Michael Derosier have teamed up with Randy Hanson, Bob Rivers, Andy Baldwin, Lizzy Daymont and Somar Macek to form the ultimate tribute to Heart’s glory days. We’ll visit with Steve Fossen and find out how this group formed and what you can look forward to when the band visits Bellingham’s Underground Nightclub on December 7th.

David McAdams is a Lummi Island musician who released his first album 2004. Since then he’s put together another album and continued to hone his songwriting. Now he’s teamed up with former Wide Open bassist Gary MacDonald to form the David McAdams Band. We’ll meet up with David and the Gaz to find out what they’ve been up to on this week’s edition of Locals Only.

Robert Sarazin Blake has been a moving presence in the Bellingham music scene for the past 15 years. Since his days playing with Basement Swing, an incredibly popular local dance band, he’s established himself as a solo performer. His music is quirky and real and has taken him all over the U.S. He is also the driving energy behind The Subdued String Band Jamboree, an annual event that attracts ethnic performers from around the country and has grown steadily for the past 10 years. Robert has some new music and we’ll listen to some cuts from his latest recording and find out just what’s what
