Gary McKinney has been a presence on the Bellingham music scene for almost 30 years. As the driving force in The Chryslers, a legendary Bellingham party band, Gary commanded the keyboards in a supportive role. With Fritz and the Freeloaders, Gary has switched to the guitar and become more serious about songwriting. Fritz and the Freeloaders have recently finished Volume 3. The album is another step in the progression of one Bellingham’s veteran rockers.

Jaime Reynolds is a Mount Vernon musician who has been on the road. Although I don’t know much about the band except they have a new CD. entitled Mountain of Hope. Jaime was previously in the band Prozac Staple. 1967 seems to have line ups in the Northwest and Arizona. We’ll ask Jaime how that works out on this week’s edition of Locals Only.

Sanoma describes themselves as a Bellingham surf band, and the jangley guitar sounds are there, but this band has something going for it. When the band was on the show last year, I thought they were a pretty good band. In the meantime, I’ve found the music really growing on me. We’ll meet the band and listen to few cuts off the new CD on this week’s edition of Locals Only.
