KGMI Part-time News Editor

P/T New Editor with sound news judgment and a self-starter. Ability to write broadcast scripts for local news stories and follow up on news beat leads and breaking news. Will write for afternoon news and for next morning news program.  May assist in producing afternoon news show.   Individual must enjoy deadline pressures and thinking quickly on his/her feet.  Some familiarity with on-line website maintenance to update the KGMI web news for the AM and social media savvy needed to help share and promote KGMI news content via social outlets.    Some weekend and holiday work is required.
