The Haggen Family Fireworks Show begins at sunset with a spectacular display over Bellingham Bay.

Island 4th of July Festival

This holiday, head to the Island 4th of July Festival on the waterfront. Grab your lawn chair/blanket, hat and some sunblock maybe a Frisbee or a couple hacky sacks, and kick back island style on the water. Watch the ships sale by as you listen to three award
winning bands coming from San Diego, Portland and Seattle. A variety of west
coast music will be played, sure to please almost anyone, from Blues/Jazz, Folk
to Pop and Rock & Roll.

There will be a BBQ and treats where guests can select from a variety of 4th of July favorites, such as Cotton Candy, Hawaiian Shaved Ice, Popcorn, Corn on the Cob, Burgers and Dogs. A Bouncy Castle is available for kids. Motorcyclists are also encouraged to put on a patriotic show and complete for different public choice motorcycle class awards, as well as best in show.
The festival is 2-9pm, July 4th, tickets are on sale now at Anderson’s General
Store in Anacortes for $10 for Adults which includes admission and a choice of
cheese burger or dog and a soft drink or water. Children under 12 are admitted
for free.
