Part-time Announcer/Board-0p

Part-time announcer/Board-0p for all stations includes voice tracking and remotes.  One year of on-air commercial radio experience, digital editing capabilities, production and voice tracking skills preferred.   In addition this position covers the board while announcers are out on remotes and road shows.  An interest in sports broadcasting and production will be an asset and allow full utilization of talents.  This position will require evening and week-end availability.

KGMI Part-time News Editor

P/T New Editor with sound news judgment and a self-starter. Ability to write broadcast scripts for local news stories and follow up on news beat leads and breaking news. Will write for afternoon news and for next morning news program.  May assist in producing afternoon news show.   Individual must enjoy deadline pressures and thinking quickly on his/her feet.  Some familiarity with on-line website maintenance to update the KGMI web news for the AM and social media savvy needed to help share and promote KGMI news content via social outlets.    Some weekend and holiday work is required.

KPUG Producer

Description: KPUG Show Producer with strong organizational skills with sound judgment. Assist the KPUG Brand Manager by booking live interviews for sports news and “The Zone” program. Record programs for future broadcasts. Download programs for podcast availability. Control prize distribution and on-air contest. Individual must enjoy deadline pressures and thinking quickly on his/her feet. Experience with on-line website maintenance critical, with an emphasis in all platforms of social media. This position requires variable shift availability as some nights and weekends are required. Candidate will have the ability to board-op when “The Zone” is on the road, or during sports broadcasts. Optimal candidate will have 1-2 years broadcast experience and be familiar with OMT, Adobe Audition, and Short Cut software. Excellent computer skills required as position also includes scheduling OMT. Produce and update on-air news and sports, commercials and promos as necessary, as well as local sports broadcasts.
