Ultimate Man Cave Rules
Beginning September 8th, complete an entry form with your first and last names, city of residence, phone number, and birthdate between September 8, 2013 through January 19, 2014 at the following locations:
  1. Any KISM Football Watch Party within the listed dates. Exact dates/times/locations of these watch parties will be promoted a minimum of 3 days prior on KISM.
  2. Each ManCave sponsor will have one designated broadcast during which entries will be accepted.  The exact dates/time of these broadcasts will be promoted a minimum of 3 days prior on KISM.  Sponsor locations include:

College Way, Mount Vernon, 98273 -Mobile Music, 3159 B North Goldie Rd., Oak Harbor, WA, 98277 -Mobile Music, 532 E. First Street, Port Angeles, WA, 98362All entries must be legible for KISM Staff to easily read the information.  Any entry with missing information or deemed to be not legible will be disqualified.  There is no limit to the number of entries one person can enter.

All entries must be entered between September 8, 2013 through January 19, 2014.  Exact end times of entry events will be broadcast 3 days prior to each event on KISM.
  1. When prizes can be won? Date?
Winner will be selected during a KISM Football Watch Party of the AFC & NFC Conference Championship Games at the Silver Reef Hotel Casino Spa on January 19, 2014.  Drawing will take place between the end of halftime and the start of the 3rd Quarter of the second game broadcast that day.
  1. The extent, nature, and value of the prizes?
Grand Prize is a $5,000 credit to be used as the winner wishes amongst the contest sponsors.  The contest sponsors are: Judd & Black, Data Link West, Windsor Plywood, Innovations for Quality Living, Audio Video Excellence, Birch Equipment, Mobile Music and Hardware Sales.  In addition, the grand prize includes an LG 60 inch Plasma HD Television (Model Number LG60PV250) valued at $1,299.99
  1. Basis for valuation of the prizes
Prize value based on the amount of credit being made available by Cascade Radio Group and the retail value of the television, as stated by Judd & Black.
  1. Time and means of selection of winner (and/or tie breaking procedures)

Winner will be chosen on:

During a KISM Football Watch Party at the Silver Reef Hotel Casino Spa on January 19, 2014, one grand prize winner will be drawn from all entries between the end of halftime and the start of the 3rd Quarter of the second Conference Championship Game broadcast that day.  At that time, if an entry is found to be ineligible, it will be disqualified and a new entry will be drawn until a winner is determined.  Winner need not be present to win.
  1. Eligibility restrictions    

 

KISM contests are open to all eligible U.S. Citizens, residing in Washington state, age 21 or older have not won anything on KISM in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of KISM, Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the KISM main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

  1. When prizes will be awarded
The Grand Prize will be awarded after the winner has completed all applicable tax forms.  Due to the value of the prize, a W-9 must be completed and a copy of a WashingtonState issued ID must be submitted at the Cascade Radio Group offices during regular business hours.  Listener has until Tuesday, February 18, 2014 to fill out the paperwork at the Cascade Radio Group offices during business hours.  After that date, if the paperwork has not been filled out, the winner will forfeit the prize.  The winner will be issued an embossed letter on KISM letterhead to present at the sponsors of their choice as they spend their winnings.  Cascade Radio Group will then cut a check directly to the sponsor.  The winner has until March 30, 2013 to use their winnings.  At that time, any remaining balance will be forfeited.  Once the winner has a remaining balance of $50 or less, we will cut them a check for the difference.  The television will be awarded upon completion of the proper paperwork at the Cascade Radio Group offices.
