92 Days of Summer Rules
For a chance to win the 7-Car Garage during these 92 Days of Summer, fill out an entry form at any live event from May 24 through September 4, 2013 OR Visit between May 28th and September 2nd any sponsor, Dewey Griffin Subaru, Frontier Ford, Mount Baker Moto Sports, Skagit Mazda, Wilson Motors, Master Marine, and Chevrolet Cadillac of Bellingham—OR during specific Instant Qualifying events promoted on KISM or at the Silver Reef Hotel Casino in Ferndale on September 5, from 3-7pm.  One entry per person. 

To qualify, listen for your name on KISM workdays between May 28 and September 4.  Up to five names per day will be randomly selected. You will have 10 minutes to call us back at (360) 733-KISM to qualify, for a maximum of 75 qualifiers. One qualifier will be drawn from each contest sponsor’s entry box at approximately 10:30am on September 3, and notified by telephone, for a total of 7 qualifiers.  At the conclusion of each INSTANT QUALIFYING broadcast, one name will be drawn from all callers during the broadcast.  There will be a total of 8 qualifiers. Qualifiers will be announced and notified by telephone.

At approximately 7:05pm on September 5, we will randomly draw from all entries submitted into the Silver Reef entry box between 3:00pm-7:00pm.  Each person drawn must be present within 60 seconds of the drawing to become one of 10 qualifiers. If there are any unclaimed spots from other qualifiers that did not attend  the 7-Car Garage event, we will draw the same number of entries from the “Last Chance Entries” until a total of 100 qualifiers have been determined. There may only be ONE qualifier for the Grand Prize per household.


Each qualifier will win a prize package with retail value of $227 consisting of a Family Pass to Skagit Speedway, a Family Pack from Papa Murphy’s Pizza, a “Dude Man Wheat” T-Shirt from Kulshan Brewery, and a One Hour Express Detail from Finish Line Auto & Detail, along with a reserved spot as a qualifier at the “KISM 7 Car Garage” event on September 5.


The grand prize will be given away during the KISM 7-Car Garage Event on September 5.

All qualifiers that entered prior to September 5 MUST register at the Silver Reef Hotel, Casino between 5:30 and 6:45pm on September 5.  After 6:45pm, any person that tries to enter the registration line will be disqualified, but may enter the “Last Chance Qualifier” drawings.  At approximately 7:15pm, we will randomly draw names of finalists.  Once a finalist’s name is drawn, he or she will personally select one garage door opener from up to 100 numbered garage door openers.  If the device opens the garage door on-stage, that contestant is the winner.  If not, the contest will continue with the next finalist.  If the correct garage door opener is inadvertently activated early, the finalist that is currently playing will be named the winner.  In the event of a malfunction, a sealed envelope with the winning garage door opener number inside will determine the winner.


The Grand Prize Winner will receive a letter from KISM as evidence of a $24,000 credit good until November 30, 2013, at the winner’s choice of one of the contest sponsors.  The winner will be responsible for any costs above $24,000.  If the $24,000 credit is not fully used, the winner will forfeit the balance.  Winner is liable for taxes on prize.  KISM will pay sponsor.


U.S. Citizens, 21 or over, residing in Washington state who have not won anything on KISM in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months are eligible. One winner per household within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener are void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of Cascade Radio Group stations, and Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the KISM main studio are not eligible to win any contest.


Qualifying Prizes are to be awarded within 30 days after winning.  In order to claim the prize, an IRS Form W-9 must be completed and a copy of a Washington State issued ID must be submitted at KISM during regular business hours.  Winner must complete all forms and a release by October 4, 2013, or forfeit the prize.  Complete contest rules are available at www.KISM.com.
